Ellesmere Carnival is traditionally held on the August bank holiday Saturday every year. The parades take place through our small market town streets at 1pm and 8.30pm. Entertainment is provided in the cremorne gardens of our beautiful mere throughout the day.
Ellesmere is situated in the Welsh borderland of North Shropshire. The main all year round tourist attractions are the Mere's, the Llangollen canal and the local shops.
